Gerina-Piller
The baby was born on March 29, 1985, in Roswell near New Mexico. Her given name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. The mother of two is Mexican American as well as an American through citizenship. Her desire to play sports began as a small toddler. Gerina took up golf in her first game at the age of fifteen. Gerina finished her high-school education through Goddard High School. In high school she won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. Her volleyball skills were also acknowledged at the national level. The year 2003 was the time she enrolled at the University of Texas. In her senior year, she took home the top prize in each tournament in which she participated. In her undergraduate seasons, she won the Conference USA's player of the season and UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
